Starting Salary: Starting salary is $47,659 (which is Bachelors Step 0)                                                              (Final compensation based on experience and degree).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging math instruction aligned to TN state standards

  • Differentiate lessons and assessments to meet the needs of all learners, including ELL and Exceptional Ed students

  • Integrate inquiry-based strategies that push students to think critically and independently

  • Build strong relationships with students and create a classroom culture rooted in accountability and care

  • Collaborate regularly with colleagues and academic coaches to improve practice

  • Participate in ongoing PD and weekly extended learning sessions until 5:15pm

  • Communicate consistently with families and contribute to a thriving school community

  • Administer state assessments and track student progress toward mastery


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)

  • Valid Tennessee Teaching License with appropriate math endorsement

  • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

  • Professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering belief in student success
