STEM Prep Academy is looking for a passionate and mission-aligned Exceptional Education Teacher to support diverse learners and drive academic excellence through tailored instruction. What You’ll Do:

Deliver rigorous, differentiated instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards and STEM Prep’s internal benchmarks
Write, implement, and monitor IEPs with fidelity
Collaborate with content teachers to integrate EE accommodations and modifications
Use data to drive instruction and support academic growth
Build strong relationships with students, families, and community partners
Participate in coaching, professional development, and continuous improvement cycles
Contribute to a structured, inclusive, and joy-filled classroom culture
Be a key player in advancing equity for students with exceptionalities
Serve as a test administrator for state-mandated assessments
Embrace innovation and bring creativity to the classroom

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree and valid TN Teaching License (with EE endorsement)
Experience or knowledge in IEP writing and case management
Deep commitment to anti-racism, equity, and inclusion in education
Growth mindset and desire to collaborate and learn
High standards and belief in the success of all students
Ability to lead with empathy and communicate effectively
